My Xbox One console will soon be capable of achieving something I’ve been able to do since my childhood DOS days: print screen. This screenshot function is good news for the social and online aspects of gaming, meaning players can share more of their content and personal experiences with each other.

I’ll be making good use of this feature when it’s available. No dates discussed yet, but with the Windows 10 Operating System event being held in a few weeks, Microsoft is hinting at a lot more new features to be revealed for the console. Probably none of them allowing seamless integration between my Mac and Xbox One. *Sigh*… Can’t we all just get along?

Sony and the Playstation 4, however, have offered this ‘print screen’ feature for a while, so it’s nice to know Microsoft has finally realised it’s 2015 and jumped on the bandwagon.

Oh man, the stuff I used to create on Paintbrush back in the day using [PRT SCR] and an 8-bit color palette. Genius.
